David Starr did not have far to go to get to the race track this week but as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entered Texas Motor Speedway, he hoped for a home field advantage. Unfortunately, the Texas native and local Fort Worth resident was plagued with misfortune beginning with an incident in Friday's practice. The Red Horse Racing team and driver never gave up and despite a mid-race spin, Starr went on to pilot his No. 11 Zachry Toyota Tundra to a solid 12th-place finish in the running of the Chevy Silverado 350K on Friday night.

David Starr doesn't have to travel anywhere to race this weekend, as he has an office near Texas Motor Speedway and literally lives just up the road from the 1.5-mile quad-oval. That doesn't mean that David hasn't done his share of traveling throughout the week, however. Starr visited the Zachry home offices in San Antonio on Tuesday, visiting with employees, signing autographs, and answering questions about the No. 11 Toyota Tundra and what it's like to race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Starr also visited two Zachry job sites in the San Antonio area.
