Hey Guys:
I hope you all are having a good start to the week.
Well...it's that time again. We are going racing this weekend in "Music City" - the big city of Nashville.  I will try my best to get you guys some updates from the track, but there is a chance that you won't get as many as normal as I am now handling the No. 81 truck also.
Please let me know if anyone has any questions.

Good eveing to all and hope your day has been a good one.
Just a quick update:
Samantha is in Nashville but her main job now is the #81. She will try and get information to me as to what is happening in practice if possible. I do not leave for Nashville till tomorrow am. Sam is in some pain but getting her job done. She had all 4 wisdom teeth cut out yesterday morning, yes yesterday morning and she flew out this morning to Nashville. She is a trooper and loves this sport.
Here is the line up for tomorrow's qualifying. We have a good draw, will just have to wait and see how David feels about the truck.
Hope everyone has a nice and relaxing evening and I will be back later if I can find anything out about the 2 practice sessions.

Hey Guys:
Well, like Mom told you all, I am here in Nashville and am in a little bit of pain. But as time goes on, it starts to feel a little better.
First practice is underway and ends at 6:15 p.m. CT. On the first run of the session, David told Jamie that his truck was "freakin awesome on entry." The only problem that he was facing was he was tight in the center and coming off of turn 2. At that point, David was in the 14th position on the speed charts. Jamie made some adjustments to the No. 11 by taking wedge out to help make the truck get through the center of the turn better.
On the second run of the session, David radioed to Jamie telling him that the adjustments that he made helped a lot. David was having to play with the fine line on his entry into turn 1. But overall the adjustments that Jamie made were an improvement to the Tundra. At the end of this run, David was in the 6th position on the speed charts and told Jamie that he could take some more of those adjustments.
While David was in the garage area, Jamie told David that they were going to keep working on the truck to make it better, because when the truck handles well, it will be fast. At this point in the session, David had run a total of 12 laps.
David just made his fourth run of the session and ran a lap of 30.70, which put him in the 6th position on the speed charts. Jamie told David that whatever he did on that lap, he needed to keep doing it.
Overall, things are looking pretty decent in the Red Horse Racing camp right now. |

Right now, with 10 minutes left to go in the first practice session, David is in the 11th position with a lap of 30.760 seconds.
The top-five on the speed charts are: 2 (Jack Sprague), 30 (Todd Bodine), 33 (Ron Hornaday Jr.), 8 (Chad McCumbee), and 10 (Brendan Gaughan). |

The first practice session just ended. David wound up in the 15th position on the speed charts with a lap of 30.760 seconds. I believe that some teams started to do qualifying runs towards the end of practice and the No. 11 team did not make one - just race runs.
I'm not sure if I will be making a lot of posts during the second practice session as I feel a lot better when I am outside walking around, instead of sitting. When I sit for a long period of time, I start to get really tired from the pain medicine that I'm on, but I will try my best to keep you guys informed. |

Redhorsefan..To clarify that alittle for you....Roush is not only a Big Fan of David's, But He also worked with David last year on the Circle Bar team as the front Tire changer..He is now on Lia's team....Course we would RATHER you be on David's team, Right, Roush???  
And Thanks Sam and Kim...We are SO very grateful to get ANY info, So Its Just Very welcomed when You can, if You cant, we understand. Sounds Really Great and Glad They seem to have a Great truck with them this week!!!

Hi All:
David and the No. 11 Red Horse Racing team have called it a day, as practice session has just ended. The second practice session didn't go as well as the first, but it overall went decent. Jamie tried a lot of different combinations to try and find the best setup for David's liking.
At the end of practice, David made a qualifying run and moved up to the 3rd position on speed charts. At the end of the practice session, the No. 11 ended up in the 6th position. David went for a 2nd qualifying run but messed up in turn 3, therefore aborted the run.
Overall, both practice sessions went pretty well. Hopefully tomorrow will bring good things to the No. 11 team.

Thought I saw Teddy coming down on David, then they cut away ..Of course..But they were fighting hard I guess for that position..Darn it, thought we had that top 5 For SURE...BUT David is still in the top 10! Rick Gay to Red Horse Racing: During the prerace report on Speed/TV, Ray Dunlap reported that Rick Gay has been hired by Red Horse Racing in preparation for their plan to run a second team in 2009.(8-9-2008)
