I wrote to Jeff Hammond...He was nice enough to take the time to reply...That whole article, and remembering that Hammond picked David as well, for the 2007 Champ, and said such nice things about David in that, I just felt all compelled to To Thank Him and Mr Deloach for being so kind to David..I understand the Sponsor issues, and that is just the facts of Life in Nascar...As all the other articles around the net state, that David was "let go"...Hammond will still step up and say "we WANT to KEEP David"...They have not Let him go, and they are still searching for a way to Keep him ....I hope and I pray really hard For David each day, that something works out for him really REALLY soon.. My loyalties lie with David, if RHR cannot find a sponsor, Then I wish them luck, and will not be bitter...If they find something and keep him on, I was telling the truth--I will Be ecstatic..If He finds a new ride, though, I will also be ecstatic , but will Miss Mr Deloach and Mr Hammond, and RHR racing ....They have been such a Great team and I SO much enjoyed watching from the pits that time, their team spirit and their Really Great work..

We too have not given up. I cannot express how much we would like to keep David. Unfortunately reality has bitten us in our collective back-sides. Up until the Daytona race we are going to continue to look. If you know or hear of anything let us know. We will follow up. Take care.

I am a huge follower of David Starr --When He joined the RHR team, I was ecstatic...And I DO sincerely hope that a sponsor is found for the 11 truck, so that he can continue to Drive for RHR...I will be ecstatic yet again!
I just wanted to say Thank You, and also to Mr Deloach, for being SO great to David this past year, and all the Kind words that we have seen written by You, about David...I have met Mr. Deloach and had the pleasure to speak with him at a couple of races, and he and Myra are so very kind...You Guys have Got to be THE greatest owner and Team that any CTS driver could possibly have...It was hard to hear the news that the 11 truck may not run, But I Do understand the money situation..Sponsorship is a necessisity...From what I have read around the Internet, You guys truly want to keep David on, and are working hard on finding a sponsor...I wish You All the luck, in whatever may happen..
Thanks for a Great 2006 season, and I do hope to be the biggest cheerleader for David AND RHR in 2007!
