Hi to all,
I just wanted to share some photos with you. Most are on Snapfish though (82 of David) If anyone is interested in seeing all of them just do to snapfish and you can use my email address of dhand4@houston.rr.com with password of gordo. It was a great weekend. It has taken me this long to recover. I had taken 1170 photos so I have finally got through editing all of those.
Can't wait to see you all again!

Thanks Starr Gazer!! I am Trying to get into see them ALL ...I am having some computer issues --things are going crazy --cant stay logged in to anything hardly making it hard to Post here too --and NOW my cable internet is running so slow, makes it seem like Dial up!  But Thanks for sharing--and I WILL eventually get through them all! LOVE Race pics! Especially STARRY ones! 
Oh Never Mind, I am getting through them ok now....lol
Awwwww.....Got some REALLY Nice Starr Pics! And Looksy at that Smarty pants Magpie walking out with Craig and Kim and David...Was SHE spoiled or What?  And I didnt know that David gave Sparky a Hug! How CUTE is that?! And There was a Nice one of David and Lisa at the autograph session.. oH, Starr Gazer, thats Really Great of You and David too!!
Ok, I got through one album, I will Be back for More later on ...Would everyone like my play by play again of the rest? LOL

 OMG...those are some great pics...GOOD JOB...I looked at all 8,000 of them  The pics of David were great tooo...such a cutie pie!! OH..and MAN...I SAW ME ALOT ...GOING ACROSS THE FIELD AND IN THE PITS DURING THE RACE AND AFTER THE RACE WITH DAVID ON THE TRACK ...I AM SPOILED...LOVE IT!! But I like being spoiled...it is great!! Thanks for sharing the pics!!!!! |

I am glad you all liked the photos. My best investment wais a good camera. I know that if I was on the other side of the fence I could have gotten better pictures during the race. But I just look at all the ones that I do have of David and forget about all the photos that could have been. My season seats are right at start finish line 10 rows up so I a great seat for Driver introductions. I loved it when David gave Sparky a hug. Makes one just want to get sparky's job for that race!

But I just look at all the ones that I do have of David and forget about all the photos that could have been. My season seats are right at start finish line 10 rows up so I a great seat for Driver introductions. I loved it when David gave Sparky a hug. Makes one just want to get sparky's job for that race!

Ha ha, go to Team Texas HP Driving School and get a feel for the track. I did the 10 lap drive, broke the something coming out of turn 2 hard on the throttle, as instructed, on about lap 5 so I got to take another car out for a full 10 laps.
That driving experience will give you an entirely new perspective on what the racers deal with. We were governed of course (felt like 135-140), with no traffic like an actual race (which is a darn good thing for everyone's sake).
I need to do that again. The ride-alongs are cool, and you get to go faster but handling it yourself can't be beat. I came away from that experience knowing I was not cut out to be a NASCAR driver. When you're sitting there, they snap the steering wheel in after tightening the belts so much you can't move, you'll think twice like I did about what I'd gotten myself into
I'd like to get my weekender on the track..... without a pace car....shake n bake the Sonic Blurrr Snake for a few laps.

Was Wondering where you were Dpotter --Never saw ya around...Better be there in November .. Someone has to help me Keep Mags OUT of the Truck ---we Need the professional driver in the truck, sooooo Thanks Mags --But No thanks.. |
