WE are at Memphis this weekend!!!

Mike and I are nearly there, we stopped somewhere in Arkansas for the night, and drive 2 more hours in the morning to Visit Graceland and other things in town, but the BEST part of the trip is the Memphis race!! I am taking all my good luck wishes, and ya'lls too, with us to Memphis..I Want to Visit Victory Lane in Memphis too!!

Good Luck David and RHR!! Oh, I can just tell them when we get there..LOL

I am so excited to get to go to a short track CTS race!!  This is our first ttime to a track that is under 1.5 miles..

Lori, you and Mike have a safe trip to and from Memphis. Give David and RHR team our Good Wishes for a Great Run and a Safe Race. I am counting on you to give David my Hugs and Kisses.  That shouldn't be a problem for you.  I know that you will enjoy every minute of it.

LET's GO Racing!! YEAH!!

It's almost Friday! We are in our Memphis Hotel room totally Whooped from our day at Graceland!  But we will be race-ready for Friday & Saturday!! Ran into Brendan Gaughan today..AT the Graceland Mansion with his whole team..Mike did his usual.."Hi Ya, Brendan, Good luck this weekend, but you'll have to come in 2nd to David" And Brendan always smiles and laughs and says.."I can accept that, but only for David" ......

Ok, we will be at practices tomorrow! Ya'll get those good vibes going, We brought as many as we can, but keep them going--All good thoughts, and all Good Luck wishes to David and Team RHR!!

Wow ya'll, it is HOT in Memphis! Feels like a sauna here! lol

David looked good in practice yesterday..EVERYONE was loose coming out of turn 4, and we could see that David was alittle loose there too, but not as bad as some..The 08 truck got extremely loose right in front of David there and was a little scarey, but David got on around him, FORTUNATELY, before that guy hit the wall by the time he got on the backstretch..

I dont know how much David's practice times really matter, and dont know how he will qualify, but David and the team, I think, were working mostly on a race-setup, rather than a qualifying run..In the second session, David came out the fastest the first time out...We saw him passing up trucks right and left ! And, All we could see was only the front stretch from the pits, didnt even see what was going on from the back..

There is an interview with him at Truckseries, where he explains his day better than I can..and he does say what we were thinking, that they worked more on a race-setup..

Ok, we are getting ready for RACE DAY!!! Let's GO Get'em DAVID and Team RHR!!!

Ya'll, I just want to say ~~~ WE have the most AWESOME Driver, And the most AWESOME crew! We may not have had the most Awesome truck on the field in Memphis, but it WAS better at the end...Just needed a few more laps..lol...ANYWAYS..We already know what an AWESOME driver we have, but I CAN Verify that we do most certainly have an awesome crew to go with our driver!

We met a few of them, talked with a few, and they are super nice, as well! We watched the race from the pits~Just as David is spectacular to watch, the crew is too!! OMG, they love what they do! And are Happy to show their pride! Some of them would even come over to where we were and High-five US, or give us the thumbs up, after their awesome pits stops! David told us beforehand that it is kinda hard to pass there, He Did pass up alot of them though!! Maybe a better qualify run woulda got us on up there, but we will take that 11th place!! GREAT job by Our driver and Team!!!

We met Mr and Mrs, Turner, the parents of the jackman, Andy..It was such a pleasure to meet them, they watched from the pits with us..We also met David's aunt and Uncle, Very much a pleasure to meet them as well, and we also ran into Thomas and Donna from Arkansas!!! Great Seeing ya'll Again, Thomas and Donna!! SUCH a Nice Pic she had of her and David! Ya'll should post that here!

We have alot of pics, I think, will try to post some later on, We are not even home yet--We stopped in Hope, Arkansas...still have about 3 hours maybe, to get home...decided to finish the trip home in the morning..Yea, we could have drove on in, but, what the heck..lol

YES!  I gave PLENTY of Hugs and Kisses and I got plenty back, but THOSE, I kept for myself!  

Yes! We'd love to see your pics, Thomas and Donna! And again, It was Great to see ya'll! Nice to see familiar faces, other than David and Kim, we didnt know anyone else!! But a couple of the crew members said they remember seeing us at Texas, and I think it was David's Aunt and Uncle said they saw us there too..My brain feels like scrambled eggs from the heat there.. so I cant remember, but I think thats right..Was nice to get to talk with them awhile though! And also with Thomas and Donna and Mr & Mrs Turner!!

We also met the front tire Changer, DJ, He was such a sweetie, loves his job and does it well!!! He was one that high-fived us--THAT really made us feel so "involved"..I loved the spirit they all show! I can't remember the other guys names, One was called "Moose" and one was "Weasel" ?? And we also chatted with Tom Deloach's girlfriend, She is So super sweet..They are both VERY nice!

Whew, I am tired, and we both have to go back to work tomorrow.....That week sure flew by..
