| Steve and I are talking about running up to Kansas City for his Birthday and our Anniversary. Can anyone give us some info on the pit passes? Will they allow you to get into the garage area like they do in Texas? We would like to be there on Friday. Any info would help us out. |

pit passes you get from the race teams but you may be able to buy a pass where you can walk around a fenced in area in the infield (some tracks have this some don't). check the tracks web site.

| Most places you have to have season tickets to get into the pits. Race teams are most of the time your only other option. Good luck. |

AAAWWW sorry Shirley..that would have been a Great Anniversary present!! You know we have it good at TMS..we can go see our driver b/4 a race in the pits and stuff..alot of other tracks are not as good!!! I think we picked a good one to live by... Have a great Anniversary..whatever you guys decide to do!! |

I am proud to live near TMS...It is a Great facility..When We arrived at Kansas Speedway, We saw it and I said "Is THAT it ??? It was a kinda a Let down ~ Nothing near the "WOW" factor as you come into TMS...But we Did have Fun there, it was just a different experience for us..And the Seats were great, we could sit down basically Low, and still see the while track..It wasn't bad, it's one of the newer tracks, it just wasnt as magnificent as TMS.
Have Fun on ya'lls Anniversary Shirley! Sorry You arent spending it a Truck race though..

Hmmm,, All I know about Branson, is there were alot of shows I wanted to go to, But I ended up only getting a ride in the back of an ambulance, and to an Emergency room in Jefferson City, I think it was...and then a ride to the airport to go home, since our Van at that time was totalled--it stayed in Missouri..And That was about IT for me in Branson..  |

 BUT SIS...You said that the Plane Ride was SOOOOOOOO much fun!!! LOL Don't let her lie to you!! J/K sis...she just keeps telling me that if she can fly home with a broke collar bone then I can fly to Cancun for a Honeymoon trip..b/c that is making me NERVOUS!! Love Ya SIS!! I have not stirred anything up in awhile..thought I would this morning!! |

Not the collar bone, it was a cracked sternum! And I Never said the plane ride was fun! I am SO afraid to fly, but I had to...What I said was--I figured it was Safe to fly that day, because I didn't think that we could have a head on collision on the roads AND a plane crash in one day, So, I wasn't quite as afraid THAT day... And besides, I was pain medication too....So Mags, WHAT will you have to do before boarding a plane???
Ooops, I am Sorry, Mags, Did you say that flying makes you nervous?? Did I mention the turbulance and how scarey that was??
You'll be fine, I made it though it..You can too..Just dont look out the windows...LOL

I have been to Branson....a lot. Since I live just a few hours from it.
 Lori, I am so sorry you had such a bad experience...you poor thing
Shirley, it really is a fun place. If you really want a great experience stay at one of the many B&B's. We stayed at a great place called Crystal Cove last time we went. The B&B was beautiful, the surrounding area was beautiful and the breakfast was yummy! We went to one show, then to the I-max the next night. And spent one day at Silver Dollar City. It was my first experience with this particular show and the IMax. Make sure you see Shoji Tabuchi! He is great!
