I am not sure my plans as of right now!!!  My plan was to leave Friday Morning and head to TMS..but now Matthew's Tball Team has a chance of 1st place and the closing ceremonies are going to be held on the 9th of June!!    We will be 1st or 2nd!!!  I will not miss it if he is 1st..I love David and he knows it, but OMG...my kids come first!!!  I wish they would have asked me 1st about the final closing..I would have had it moved...LOL  So I will keep yall updated!!!!

Hi, we talked to David at Gateway, and he told us that there would be a 2nd David Starr day this year.  WE loved it last year.  Everyone was so nice to us, especially David!

Thomas, Ya'll were at the fan day last June??!! I dont recognize your names, But I met SO many new people, I couldnt keep them all straight  I am sure we all bumped into each other at one time or another That was SUCH a Great day, One I will never forget..A very special day that just touched my heart in a big way..That would be awesome to get together again like that! It was more like a "family reunion" than anything else.. 

What does it take to get this idea rolling?

Contributions?  Volunteer help?  Sponsorship?

I'm thinking we are too close to the June race day to put something together. Anyone know of any on-going plans?  At the very least... we ought to tailgate party somewhere until all the traffic thins out.

Mike and I Will be there Wednesday evening, somewhere in a parking lot with our camper--wherever TMS places us for the night, to wait for the infield to open..And we are staying until Sunday morning...Who all is staying thru Saturday for the Indy race?? Or is everyone leavin after David's race Friday??? After David Wins on Friday night, We should Celebrate ALL Weekend!

Someone pick some times and places, and let us know-- Because We have several people we are trying to keep up with also! A couple of those people include Our new David Starr fan recruits, ( Mike's Boss, and wife) will be there, and not sure of when we are meeting up with them just yet..

Thomas--we went to Kansas last July! We had a Great time seeing David at a different track other than TMS, We had never been to any other track before..But This year, we are trying Memphis--Its a little closer, Kansas was a LONG LONG drive for us, but it was worth the trip! We may do Kansas again someday-- My sister lives 10 minutes from the Kansas Speedway.. 

Thomas, The reason that I was asking was that I thought that I remembered yall but, once again I was wrong.  I was looking back at some of racemom pictures that she took at Fan Day. And trying to remember yall. Racemom took some great pictures at Fan Day. O' Well we will meet yall in at the track.

Melissa is saying that her Lawyer is trying to get her into court the week after the race. And now Steves boss is telling him that he may have to go to Florida the days of the race and he told them that he would not go. So he maybe going on Monday after the Race.Then my Doctor was wonting to do surgery the week of the race but I told him that I did not wont to do it then. So I will be going into Surgery on Tuesday May 30. I think that everyone is trying there best to keep us away from the race.  But, we are going.  We have our Pit passes and for the first time we have VL Club Suite tickets.  

WE WILL BE THERE!!!  WITH BELLS ON!!!  Yes girl..your number is in our cels and we are ready to go!!!  Another Fan Day would be great..but if we are going to do that..we better get the ball rolling or we can do it as just meet somewhere with all of us MB people!!  Me not know..but I will help and do where I can!!!!

Very cool!  Janie and I know the pit passes are $65... But, we don't have our "seats" yet.  We don't know that much about TMS and where the best seats are.   I thought VL Club Suite tickets were only for "season ticket holders"?   (Which would be way outa our league since with live in DC.)  We are still planning the details... Still planning to come... But, I gotta be truthful... I can only do 1 two-day driving trip to TEXAS per year.... (too many idiots on the road) and if there is not going to be a David Starr day in June.... Janie and I might want to delay until the fall venue.

Last time, Janie and I were in general admission all the way to the right of the finish line. It was fun... but, I never saw another David Starr fan anywhere near me. Can someone recommend where (location) to buy the "good" TMS seats?  And, also, how the camping reservations/rules work?  Thinking about renting a camper. (We don't have a place to stay yet.... and got to solve that problem pretty quick.)

Thanks...  Looks like we are going to go ahead with our plans.  I've got a few loose ends to clean up...  It's been a very eventfull two months.. you'll see what I mean when you read my post in the "non-race" chatter.

If the hard-core message-board members (and any new folks) are there and want to get together.. then - the heck with an "official day"!

Sounds like a cell-phone-link-up is the best strategy to meet. How much better could it get?
