DAVID STARR, No. 11 Zachry Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing Starting Position: 26th
How do you think your qualifying effort was today? “I’m shocked, really. Yesterday, we ran a 53.80 (lap time) and today, we ran a 54.40. I can’t believe it. It doesn’t make sense to me what happened. We really didn’t change the truck. We just checked everything out and went back out there and ran one lap. It just wasn’t very good. It’s puzzling to me, because it’s not just a very good lap. We’re going to race good tomorrow. It’s just disappointing that we were that much slower than the other Toyotas. It’s a little frustrating, but we’ll race good tomorrow.”

thanks, Mike! I think it's really evident that the Toyota's are at a disadvantage because of scaling the engines down---NASCAR should definetly rethink their decision...
anyways,.....i think if David can stay out of the wrecks tomorrow, everything will be just fine! GO RED HORSE! :-) |

I'm going to need some margaritas after that race---what happened after that restart? David was a solid 4-5 truck lengths off of the main pack? And that pit road speeding didn't help--I know you all share my pain...seems like par for the course this year--
David's still our guy and Red Horse is still our team! |

I thought something was definately wrong - I thought He was Doing Great & staying only a second or so off the leaders the whole time up Until this last restart...And then suddenly He wasnt in the pack after the last restart..Something had to have gone wrong.
AHHHH, But SO glad David was Ok and stayed out of trouble.. surprises Me that there really was Not a "Big One" .. only little ones..Dega (nor daytona) is NOT my favorite track at ALL..I dont Like that Bunched up pile of trucks/cars..I am SO thankful that everyone comes out safe and sound..Great Job today by the CTS as a whole!
David and RHR, Keep Up the Great work! We have 5 mores races and We all KNOW what a Great Driver and Team we have! Just gotta get that Bad luck monkey OFF the truck! We Will SEE Victory Lane SOON, I just Know it!
Next Race is Martinsville!! David and RHR have won there together! Now I can get excited and Not so NERVOUS over that one!

| Ok, I'm ready for the next race. This race was just too strange. David would be heading to the front and then I'd blink and he's in the back... Glad the race ended with our driver safe and for the crew..well at least the truck is in one piece. (On a really b*t**y note, I had to run for the kleenx box when Baby Huey Hillman started to cry....dont tear your nighties...I said it was b*t**y). Like I said I'm ready for the next race. |

LOL..Baby Huey Hillman .... Thats a Good One!
Yea, I really dont see that its real "racing" at these tracks --Dega & Daytona--This Plate thing they gave the trucks, PLUS the new engine rule for the Yotas, makes it more like a cup race there...All bunched up together, and just Praying that nobody sneezes and makes a mistake....More Like SURVIVAL than racing..I am also glad its over with and David is SAFE. |

David's still our guy and Red Horse is still our team! The speeding on pit road was a crew chief error. He told David 54 and it should had been 52 on the tack.
