Hope you all are doing well.
Here is some info you may or may not know:
It would be nice to get paid for being on "tv" but the reality is when you sign your NASCAR license application and even the single event paperwork when you "visit" the pits area you are waving your right for payment for use of your name, photo, likeness, etc. that may be filmed/photographed while at the track. As far as I know it has been that way for a long time. So it does not look like he will be getting any cut other than exposure and tv time. May not be in the best light but it is exposure.

Kim, Thank you for that info. I had a feeling it was that way. Nascar can do anything with you but, boy don't try to use there name in any way. They get down right dirty.
I was only trying to be funny, knowing that David wonldn't get anything from it but a bad deal. That really does stink. |

What I meant by not "being in the best light" was it casts a not so good opinion from folks on the whole situation. Even David mentioned it (from the video you posted the link for above): "Wish it wouldn't have happened, wish I wasn't part of it, there's nothing good about it". Yes, I agree that folks need to stand up for themselves. Yes, I agree both sides were wrong. There was alot of voice traffic over the airways that was not brought up and I will not bring it up. There are 2 sides to all events and I guess NASCAR must of felt some part of it was David's since they issued the largest fine to him. DO NOT get me wrong I still care for David very much and do not want to see anything happen to him and do not wish him any bad runs. I am not posting this as a slam to David AT ALL. Hopefully Talladega will be a turning point in the season for David and the entire RHR team.

Wow now posters are mind readers. Nothing has been done purposefully on my part and sorry you all feel that I have done wrong. Will no longer post that should make everyone involved pleased.
Never done anything involved with this board to harm David - always have spoken the truth and sorry to offend. Guess only certain posters can speak what they feel and be welcomed.
