I understand that Mr. Jeff Hammond is going to be at the Discount Tire Store on October 29, 2008 2055 W State Highway 114 Grapevine, Texas 5:00-6:00PM. I was wondering if Mr. Starr was going to be there?

Hey there Trucks11! Good to see ya again.. But, I am Kinda thinking that Mr Starr will most likely not be at that..I COULD Be wrong, but Jeff Hammond has Something to do with Discount Tires, Not sure exactly what that might be, But I have seen him wear a Discount Logo on his shirts..And I dont think that David has anthing to do with that.. But I think that I May Be there!! I would LOVE to Meet the other Boss man...I Have Met Mr Deloach, He is SOOO wonderful, but I have Yet to Meet Mr Hammond..Maybe a Group of us should try to Get together there and Show Mr Hammond our appreciation!

Well, Lori, if you do meet Jeff I'll need you do do something for me....take a good hard look at those eyes and tell me if they are as blue as the sky in Texas..

I have meet Mr. Hammond one year at TMS and got an Autograph from him. I had my picture made with him but the girl never sent it to me off her Cell phone. I just Love friends like that don't you? You go somewhere and your camera not working and a friend takes pictures and says something about sending you a copy and never does. I love friends like that don't you?

Ok, This is How WRONG I am on this..I checked on Jeff Hammonds website (www.jeffhammond.com) and found this nice little quote by him :

"I am extremely excited about being a national spokesperson for Discount Tire and all of their employees. I also welcome their involvement on Red Horse Racing's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Toyota #11 diiven by David Starr. I invite you to check out the list below and come visit me at a local Discount Tire store near you."

Ok, Sooooo..Also there is a nice picture of Jeff beside the #11 Truck on the front page..Just thought that was cool...but Anyways, Discount Tire IS associated with the #11 truck,..I Feel like a terrible fan to not know that!

He has several appearances listed--says nothing about David being at any of them...but There is an email contact..Which I have used before, I believe He does read his email, as I did get a response from him that time..I am thinking I may email him and ask, since it IS David's home track, if David will be coming along with him to the Appearance in Grapevine..Or if he would consider taking David with him...It would Be nice to see them together ..

..maybe some of ya'll can send a quick email to him also!

Mr Hammond Did respond to me about the Discount Tire appearance... Lori, David Starr will not be with me at Discount Tire in Grapevine. It will be myself and David Ragan only. Sorry to disappoint but I look forward to meeting you. take care. Jeff So There we Have it, David Starr will not be with him, But I will still be happy to meet Jeff Hammond...looking forward to meeting him!

USUALLY, But I cannot say for sure , but usually David appears somewhere in the midway or concourse area of TMS, sometime after the race is over with..So Check here as we get closer to the race and I am sure if He DOES do his "usual", it will probably be posted here or in the "Where's David" section of the site..

Yea I waited at the trailer last race and got him to sign his street sign. Was one of the first ones waiting. I wanted his new truck, that thing is nice.
