Well, next stop for David and the Red Horse Racing team is Bristol Motor Speedway, a.k.a. the bullring and "The World's Fastest Half-Mile."

The racing is always exciting at Bristol and I'm positive that this week will be no different, especially with two Cup drivers in the field. Of course, the leader of the Sprint Cup Series points, Kyle Busch will be back behind the wheel of the No. 51 and reigning back-to-back Cup Champion, Jimmie Johnson will be driving the No. 81 and making his debut in the NCTS. This is great for not only the Truck Series as a whole, but for all of the Truck Series regulars who will be given the opportunity to race against the best.

Note: The race will be Wednesday night, instead of our normal Friday or Saturday races. Make sure to catch all of the action live on SPEED!

I LOVE to watch the Bristol races! I can Hardly wait! David is like a Short track SUPERMAN to Me...Bristol has always been a slightly different short track than the rest of them, being the biggest Bang'em up and topsy turvy race track of them all, but now the Newly paved Bristol is alittle bit of a change..STILL, I think anything can Happen, and drivers and teams STILL need Lady luck on their side...I know My Driver can Do what He needs to Do, and I Know his Team can Too....So We Just Need some EXTRA Good Luck Wishes and LOTS of Good Vibes going to Bristol this week for David and Team RHR!! Lets Saddle up that Red Horse #11 Tundra and come out KICKING!!

I want to See David do the Bristol STOMP!

GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES and GOOD vibes ALL to DAVID and TEAM RHR!!!

Good Morning Starr Fans! Happy Race Day!! Practice isnt too far away now...

Hope everyone has a GREAT day and an even better evening as we settle down to watch the race...Course it wont be "settled" for long, as it IS Bristol! Like Chaz's Sis said, "breathless" and I will also Spend Most of My time on the edge of my seat--IF I can Stay IN my seat, Kinda doubt that, lol

Ok, LETS GO RACING gang!!

GOOD Luck to David and RHR!!

Good Morning from Bristol Motor Speedway!

Well, it is raceday here and the action is already starting for the day. The Hooters Pro Cup cars are on the track right now, which means at 8:45 a.m. you can already hear the roar of engines inside the "bowl" of BMS.

The schedule for today is definitely full, so I will try to keep you all updated as much as possible. It is sort of difficult because as you all know, I also handle the No. 81 which has Jimmie Johnson driving it today. So, needless to say, between David and Jimmie, I will have a very busy day!

The weather right now is gorgeous. It's not to hot but not to cold - perfect. But we all know that it is most likely not going to stay like this for the rest of the day. :/

First practice starts at 9:45 a.m. ET and I will try to bring you guys updates as usual.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Get ready to go racing tonight on SPEED.

practice one looked rough from the times on truckseries.com. It's times like these when a great crew chief like Jamie, great crew and a great driver like David make all the difference in making those important adjustments! Don't get down, team! GO RHR!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is another of those Coil Binded racetracks because you carry so much speed through the turns.

Rick Gay to Red Horse Racing: UPDATE: Starr talks about new team; announcement soon: During the prerace report on Speed/TV, Ray Dunlap reported that Rick Gay has been hired by Red Horse Racing in preparation for their plan to run a second team in 2009.(8-9-2008)
UPDATE: One of the other exciting things that has been happening recently, as far as our Red Horse Racing team, [David Starr writes...] is that we may finally be getting close to a possible second Craftsman Truck Series team. While there hasn't been an announcement yet, it's been no secret that we have been trying to expand our organization. Rick Gay has been hired by Red Horse Racing, and while he's already a huge help for our #11 team, he has also been getting people hired for the possible second team. I'm sure there will be an announcement pretty soon, but right now they are just trying to get everything in place and situated. It's a cool thing for me because I'm excited to have a teammate, and I think it's going to be awesome for everyone at RHR.(Frontstretch.com)(8-20-2008)

Wow I have never see that before! Possibly / Probably David's future teammate?!?

My question is... If he "moved in Jan 08 and joined up with Red Horse Racing becoming the first Native American to be in one of Nascar's Elite Series"...where has he been driving for RHR in nascar?

I think it says he moved there --to start his nascar career in one of nascar's elite series...So I think I understand that part but does it necessarily mean it will be another truck?
