David Looked Like he had a REALLY GREAT ride! oh but yea, Had alittle bump or 2, but thats Short Track racing! He looked like he had a Nice little Hot rod tonight!!, Also Did a Great Job in getting his lap back that he HAD to EARN back --Not being eligible for the Lucky Dog, because he caused a caution --Which MY thoughts on That was--He HAD to Stop --He cut a tire! Or Maybe Benson cut his tire.. But He coudnt get back down on the inside, He didnt wreck, or wreck anyone else, So what was he to do? I thought it was a Great SAVE! but He got penalized .. Oh well, he got the lap back anyways!
I thought My driver and Team were AWESOME tonight! Maybe the results did not exactly Show a Great night, but they LOOKED Great!!
GREAT JOB DAVID and TEAM CBR!!!

benson got into david on the backstretch and the tire went flat by turn 3. david went high and stopped and nascar nailed him one lap penalty claiming he stopped to bring out the caution.
yes they did evacuate in the infield. but it is a looooooooooooooong walk back to the parking area and we were prety wet. i ended up going into the restroom and changed into some dry jeans. wish i had an extra pair of shoes w/me! we ended up leaving the track and going to get something to eat (it was almost 5pm and we ate last at 9am!). |

i'd rather be at the track!

Yea, They called it Intentional ~ David Stopped---But his Tire was FLAT and he was loosing it, he could not get down on the inside to get to pit row because of Traffic...so instead of wrecking, or wrecking someone, or causing any more damage....He stopped ...I saw it as a SAVE, Nascar Didnt...

From Truckseries.com
David Starr - No. 10 International/MAXX Force Diesel Ford F-150 (finished 19th) "Our International/MAXX Force Diesel Ford was pretty awesome today. We didn't qualify where we wanted to after the two practice sessions we had on Friday. It rained today, so they kept drying the track, and we had a green track plus we had kerosene and a little oil out there. So, I went out fifth and we were slipping and sliding and we didn't get the start that we wanted. All these guys on this Circle Bar Racing team, they dug all day and we just gave it all we got. They kept digging and digging throughout the race and it was running sixth or seventh. We had a great truck; it was awesome. We just had another truck get into me in turn one and two and cut the left rear tire down with about 30 laps to go. We thought we were going to get out of here with a top-five finish, but that didn't happen today. We have a lot of momentum; our team, we're getting better and better. For a new team, we're pretty excited for where we are at this year. We haven't really lived up to our expectations, so we thought we'd be a lot better sooner, but that shows you how competitive the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is - it's very competitive. This wasn't a good day for Circle Bar Racing. My teammate Rick Crawford was leading the race and had the same problem (cut tire) I had and it's just how it went down. His truck was incredible; mine was good today. Everybody here at Circle Bar Racing did a great job. We'll just hold our heads high and look forward to Dover.
What was the penalty on lap 205 for? "I'm not sure. I was really surprised by that. I don't know. They gave us a penalty for some reason and I don't know what the reason was. When I got back on the race track, and I was a lap down and got to start there by Rick, I want to make sure that I didn't mess up my teammate because he was leading the race. But I knew I had a good truck, so I kind of let him get out there and I jumped in behind him and a caution came out. Then Dennis Connor, my crew chief, said that I didn't get the 'Lucky Dog' because of the penalty NASCAR assessed. I don't understand, we really didn't do anything wrong. He said the only way to get your lap back was to pass the leader, so when my teammate had his tire go down, I was able to go by him and the 75 truck and get my lap back. It was good, but it was a little too late. It was good short track racing and I'm excited because our International/MAXX Force team and our Ford F-150 are getting better as the racing team and we have a lot to be proud of. Although we didn't get the finish we wanted to today, we have a lot of momentum going into Dover." |

| Well of course i missed another weekend of racing because of work! 19th isn't bad. David is consistent and that's all that matters he always finishes a race no matter what the crew says of what happens! |

| How refreshing to see David and the team get the MAXFORCE Ford up front after struggling so much. I heard they have done away with the coil binding set up and have gone back to a more conventional set up that David is more comfortable with. the results are postive whatever they did. Keep it up guys. |

| Mike, We know that the final results doesn't say the hole story of how David ran in Mansfield. We can tell that things are coming together. We will get there soon. |
