Here is the race schedule for Kansas :
Friday April 25th ~ Practices ~ 11am - 12:30 CST and 2:30 - 3:30 CST
Saturday, April 26th ~ Qualifying ~ 12:40pm CST
RACE time ~ 5pm CST (tv time 4:30) on SPEED

I land in Kansas around 4:15 pm and will try and post a review of the day once I speak with David and Jamie. Will also attempt to keep you all updated on the events leading up to the race on Saturday. Truckseries.com no longer does the trackside live so it is hard to find out what is going on at the track if you are not there.

Hey Thomas and Donna!! YEAH, we WILL have Starr Fan representation in Kansas with you two going! I wasn't sure if anyone was!! My Sister lives there, but I think they are not going this time, but She IS going to try and catch David at the Mall there Thursday evening..
Ya'll have a GREAT time! Tell David we all are Cheering for him and wishing him and the team The BEST for a REALLY GReat Race and a Victory Lane party!! Have a Great time you two!! See Ya in June here in Texas ?? |

Look forward to meeting you both at Kansas. I will be probably get to the track sometime between the garage opening (9:00 am) and qualifying (12:40 pm). Feel free to stop by the hauler and ask for me.
Just a fyi to all, if at the track we do not mind visits but please remember the garage area is the "office" to the team. 
I will send an update tomorrow once I arrive in Kansas.

Let's hope Jamie does his usual good with a new truck. Kim needs to goose him up so David can qualify and finish better than in the past. Another top ten will do just fine. Kim, do your job. You need to score him first at the finish line.

Greetings from a cold Kansas! Just arrived and left behind temperatures in the high 70's to arrive to temperatures in the 50's and will drop to the 30's tonight.
Spoke with Jamie just a few minutes ago and here was the response about today's practice sessions:
Both practices went ok this afternoon. The truck is a little tight off turn 2, but turns 3 and 4 are both good. David says that he believes the "truck is awesome."
So, even though we are not at the top of the speed charts, don't worry! We will see what we can do in qualifying tomorrow at 12:40 p.m. (Kansas time) and then go get them in the race. 
My daughter, Samantha, will be giving updates from the track tomorrow before and after qualifying and after the race, so make sure to check in for up-to-date information from the track!
Heading off the the casino to try and win some sponsor money! Wish me luck!

The weather sure doesnt look great for tomorrow..but maybe it isnt alltogether hopeless...Calls for 30 - 40% chance of scattered Thunderstorms...Maybe the track will be in the 60-70% that it wont! 
Start doing those anti-rain Dances everyone!!
How different for Kansas now that they moved the date...When we went 3 years ago, to a CTS race, it was July and it was HOT HOT HOT...VERY Hot!!
One last Good Luck wish to David and all the RHR team!! Go Get'm guys!!

Update: weather not looking good. NASCAR has made some changes to the schedule.
Qualifying will now be at 1:00 pm (Kansas time). Green flag will be at 5:00:15. Send wishes up for the weather to old off until the race or at least 1/2 way.
