|
| A savvy pit strategy proved to be the best call for David Starr in the MemphisTravel.com 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park. Under the scorching heat Crew Chief Jason Miller made the call to top off with fuel early in the race and then only have to pit for tires in the following laps. The strategy played out according to plan when Starr inherited the second spot while others pitted for fuel. Then Starr was able to hold his own conserving all the fuel he could until the final shootout to the end. He brought his No. 24 HT Motorsports Toyota Tundra home in the third position. |

| “It is so fun to go to the race track right now. When you feel like every time you step foot into your race truck and can bring home a win, then you really look forward to the next event. I feel like at the start of every race we are moving forward. Our team is really gelling right now and it has shown in our performances. It’s disappointing to finish 10th like we did last week when I know I could have given them a run for the win." |

“I’m so excited to be a new dad and to be able to celebrate Father’s Day with my son is one of the coolest things. I can remember the times I went with my dad to the race track as a little boy. I remember how it looked, how I felt so mesmerized by the sounds and the smells and I remember those days with him the most. I was this eager kid and he showed me the ropes of the race track." |
